My Story

I am Jesse's Grandmother ... Nanny.
We miss him so much and loved him every day of his little short life.
He never stopped smiling.
His little smiling face is with us forever.
We had such hope for our little Jesse boy!
We want other families to have hope.

We received so much love and so many acts of kindness during Jesse's fight, this is our way of 'giving back'.

The opportunity to walk together as a family in memory of Jesse has brought some sunshine into our lives.

Our family is united to 'give back' in the hope the funds raised will support further research to enable other families and little people to live healthy happy lives.

We are so grateful for the care given to our beautiful Jesse boy by all the amazing staff at the Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick. We are blessed to live in this country with exceptional doctors and nurses and support staff. We are forever indebted to each and everyone.

I've created this page because I want to make a difference. I'm inspired by the work of The Children's Hospital at Westmead and wanted to support them by raising money as part of my participation in Bob 'Tug' Wilson's Walk for Kids with Cancer 2019. Please help me help them by giving whatever you can using the 'Give Now' button. The more people that know about The Children's Hospital at Westmead, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!

Our little Jesse boy was diagnosed with a Malignant Rhabdoid Tumour in his liver and lungs at 11 weeks of age in September 2018.

He fought so hard and ALWAYS with a smile! We cherished every minute we got to spend with him. He was an absolute blessing to our family. The strongest boy i've ever met.

Our little angel went home to heaven on January 3rd 2019 at 6 months of age and what a beautiful legacy he has left behind.

His team from Sydney Children's Hospital Randwick were absolutely amazing. My hope is that the money raised goes towards helping many more children with rare cancers to be made well!

Keep fighting!
